The American Citizen Services (ACS) unit assists people with American passport renewal and issuance, reports of birth abroad, U.S. citizen registration, notarial services, voter assistance, tax forms, and emergency services for American citizens.

American Citizens Services are available at the U.S. Embassy in Ankara and the U.S. Consulates in Istanbul and Adana.
New American Citizen Service (ACS) hours for Ankara:
Effective March 1, ACS public hours :13:30-16:30, Monday through Thursday. (closed to the public all day Fridays)

Please do not call for any "Immigrant" or "Non Immigrant" visas related questions to the ACS unit! The ACS unit will not answer visa inquiries.
The ACS Units in Istanbul is open from 08:00–11:30 and 13:30-15:00, Monday through Thursday. (closed to the public all day Fridays)
